Potion of Shielding is very useful for you to upgrade the Chalice of Blood You can use the Well of Health to remove curses on items if you're ever wearing one. You can throw the dew vial into the Well of Health to fill it up. You can throw an item (except for potions because they will break) into the Well of Awareness to identify them You receive fewer experience points when you push a mob into a chasm You can throw your things at chasms and it will be on the lower floor. Additionally, if you examine it, there will be a hint that it is a mimic chest. Mimic chests move their mouth and will go out of sight if it is in the fog of war. You can identify what type of item a crystal chest has by examining it You can bless an ankh with 20 dewdrops, so in case you die you'll not lose all of your items (if you just have an unblessed ankh) There is always a Scroll of Identification, Scroll of Remove Curse, Scroll of Magic Mapping, and Potion of Healing in every store. Seeds are useful for identifying potions by combining three of the same kind in alchemy.
